Check Sieving

The process of check sieving commonly removes lumps and contaminates from material. A single mesh screen is fitted to the machine, good material passes through and any larger unwanted material is retained above. This is probably the most straightforward arrangement for screening material and, in general, the most popular type of sieving.

This type of screener moves product along or down a rectangular sloping mesh using gravity as an aid in movement. This machine is ideally suited to products which have a high proportion of oversize material and require de-dusting or de-watering.

Vacuum/Pressure Sifting

Where toxic, very fine, dusty, airborne type products require sieving and there is a danger of contamination to personnel and the surrounding atmosphere, vacuum/pressure sieving may be the solution. Our machines are designed to be fully enclosed, transferring the product with no leakage.

Ultrasonic Sieving

The use of ultrasonic sieving can provide added benefits when sieving fine powders. The high frequency vibration to the mesh produces a fine vibration amplitude enabling product to pass through the mesh more readily than by normal low frequency vibration. All machines listed below are available with our Sievmaster Ultrasonic System.
